Stories are distributed between the Army, Navy, Army Air Corps, Marines. Two WASP stories stand out as those among the little more than 1,000 women who completed flight training and took over jobs in the US which allowed more pilots to go overseas. An Army nurse tells about working in hospitals in France and Germany during and after the war.
